Our Mission:
Finding its source in the Gospel of Life, Chi Rho Christian Camps:
empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today.
engage young people in the life, mission, and work of the faith community.
foster the growth of each young person – body, mind, and spirit.
We accomplish this by:
re-welcoming young people into the family of faith. At Camp Chi Rho we help young people remember that they are not alone in the world but are essential, valued, and necessary members of the living Body of Christ in the world today.
immersing young people in the beauty of God’s creation. Here, in the quite grandeur of His creation, young people have time and space to encounter God, themselves, and others in new, fun, and life-giving ways.
reawakening in young people the reality of their inherent dignity. Created in the image and likeness of God, each young person is uniquely hard-wired with particular gifts, talents, abilities, and passions that God wishes to use for the greater good of others and therein help them to recognize the purpose for which they have been created.
