Semper Fidelis Exertus Frater Infinitus (SEMPER) Born: August 19, 2005 Died: June 9, 2007 The Semper Club was founded by my wife and me after our nearly two year old Doberman, “Semper” was killed in a tragic accident.We love our dear Semper very much and had to take him to the animal hospital to try to save his life. During his stay, he had many various x-rays, IV's, and minor surgeries. We did not care about the cost as long as we could try to bring him home. Unfortunately, he has so much bruising to his lungs, that even with a ventilator, and the best team of veterinarians in Ohio, he was unable to properly oxygenate his blood. Within 24hours of being hit by a car, Semper was dead. So, where are we going with this? Semper is an excellent name for our dog, because even though he did not survive, it was not because we were not faithful to him. We did every thing we could to try to save him but to no avail. As a result of our actions to try to save Semper, we incurred close to $5000 in medical bills, this amount of money is hard for any family to have to pay, and is also hard to deal with worry about expenses when you are worried about the life of your beloved pet. This is why the Semper Club Foundation was formed. We are asking you if you can to donate any amount to the club. This money will be used to help others such as ourselves who don't care what the cost is to bring home their family pet.We do not expect everyone who reads this to donate or even understand. But, those of us who have pets that are just as much family as our children understand. So, if you feel that our cause is a good one, please donate today.
